Why Choose ABA Therapy?
For generations, therapists and doctors have been working to establish effective techniques to support patients dealing with autism, communication problems, behavioral challenges, listening issues, and motor skill development. Applied Behavior Analysis has now been extensively researched across a wide range of patients and has been proven to be an effective intervention technique. ABA therapy in Orange County is a viable option for many families and may be an excellent alternative to previous strategies.
Our Approach
Our ABA Therapy in Orange County is structured with the local demographic in-mind. By partnering with regional schools and institutions, we are better able to integrate with existing services and care strategies.
At VBA, we deploy advanced ABA therapy strategies with our Orange County patients. Our curriculum is based on the Verbal Development Theory (VBDT) created by Dr. R. Douglas Greer (Columbia University) and also focuses on how children and individuals learn best. At VBA, we implement instructional protocols to support learning through observation and experience. By better understanding each client’s behavior cusp, we can determine the best motivational conditions to spur behavioral advances.
Our Orange County ABA therapy services are learner-driven. This means that we conduct a detailed analysis of each student and then employ the best instructional or change aspects to support skill acquisition.
ABA Therapy Funding Resources
VBA works with a wide range of organizations to help make ABA therapy accessible to the people who need it most. We can accept funding from insurance plans, medical centers, regional educational districts, and private sources. We currently work with the Orange County School District and the Regional Center of Orange County. See a full list of our Funding Sources here.
